When you make an appointment for a waxing service, please make sure be sure not to tan 24-48 hours before waxing-as it increases sensitivity. If you are using Accutane, Retin-A, Differin, Renova, blood thinners, alpha hydroxy products or have high anti-biotic use, you may not be a good candidate for a waxing service. Certain physical conditions such as diabetes, pregnancy and a pre-disposition to cold sores may also cause heightened sensitivity.
